Mallorca starts phase 2 of de-escalation after the Coronavirus pandemic. The islands are waiting for the opening of the beaches on May 25 with the start of Phase 2 in Mallorca and Ibiza. Since the start of the de-escalation, in principle the beaches could be opened from phase 3 but the government has rectified and now the Balearic Islands with temperatures around 27 degrees are eagerly awaiting the opening of the beaches.

A week ago with the start of Phase 1, nautical activity, water sports and boat rental in the Balearic Islands were already open.

Until now, bathing has been allowed only from a boat. The local people of the islands had become quite animated and the nautical season started in an active and safe way.
